Description | | | I'm in montreal canada. but its now on the list so 🤷♀️
I’ve been building/selling stuff since I was a kid.
I eventually quit school to do more of that. I graduated from Founder Institute in 2015, raised a bunch of money, won awards, and went bankrupt. I took a break from building publicly for a while after that.
I worked for an angel investor as an ‘’entrepreneur en residence’’ for 4 years, managing the business he invested in. I kept hustling on the side, after work, trying to find the next thing, selling stuff on FBA, and building some projects/businesses here and there, but nothing I could make stick.
In the summer of 2021, I joined a Marketing Agency as a partner, my first public move in a while. And pushed hard, for 18 months only to realize I was close to where I wanted to be, but that business wasn’t IT. You cant scale ‘’making videos’’. I had a great partner fit, a role fit, But not a business fit. So I decided to take some time off and find a business I wanted to build.
I’ve been networking a lot, helping entrepreneurs for free, trying to find either a business I can join or a role in the ecosystem to help people build things.
And this brings me here.
I don't have the skill set to build tech, but I’m very aware of the potential tech has to change the world we live in. I want to take those innovations and help put them in the hands of the people they are supposed to be helping. I’m filling out this form because I want to find product people to collaborate with and you have people building things who might need skillsets like mine in their teams.
I’m not a salesman, accountant, or marketer. I can do all of these things, pitch, and raise money. I can also do a lot of other things I probably haven’t learned yet. Because if I need to know something, I usually figure it out.
I’m a jack of all trades; Master of none. That’s part of the job anyway, right?
Some people know what they want to do with their lives because what they want is to be doctors or firemen; The only way I can describe myself is that I have this innate need to build businesses and I'd love for that business to be described by a bunch of words like disruptive, game-changing, sustainable, innovative. (Not just because they are buzzwords but also because it's really something I care about!)
Let's get coffee?
