| Description | | | | Hello. My name is Keith. I'm the startup founder of a trading card Marketplace. I have been bootstrapping this project up to this point. I'm a very knowledgeable card collector for 37 years. I'm very familiar with the trading card hobby industry and all the scams and bad behavior that comes with it. Before starting out on this venture, I worked many years in manufacturing. Specifically, in the area of robotics operations and chemical mixing and doctoring. These skills do not apply directly to my startup, and this is the reason I'm seeking a technical minded cofounder. I have been able to bootstrap due to covid era investments. I'm currently unemployed in order to facilitate the development of my product, set up social media accounts, set up a campaign launch on Facebook, and work in the SEO keywording. I will likely have to start working around launch of the platform, but will be picky, as I will not risk the scaling of CardAuthnetico. I'm very active and have many interests including hobby, sports, world events, many eras of histories and cultures, investing and the general market and anything involving the blossoming startup industry and its culture. | What am I looking for | | | | CardAuthentico Inc. is a fully incorporated company in the state of Delaware. The product aims to solve many scamming problems with newer technologies. We also will be looking to provide desired features to the card hobby industry. The first issue we went with for our MVP was an additional layer of identity verification to combat people using fake profiles. specifically on Facebook. Facebook offers no buyer protection on items shipped and fake profiles are common in Facebook trading card groups. This seems to like the best path, as we are launching a Facebook Campaign. CardAuthentico offers the ability to digitally store your collection as well. And we may implement AI price recognition and storing in this process. The trading card hobby industry is a very lucrative market, and we have many options after the market validation of our MVP. I'm going to use the MVP to engage the early customer base in order to prevent the development of features nobody wants and to also have an understanding as to what customers want developed. I'm thinking a SaaS based business model is the best way to go. There are many ways this can be tiered. Certain number of transactions per tier or package of features. There are many issues that I would like to solve in the future. Autograph verifier. No 2 cards are exactly alike and can be scanned into the system to complete a transaction to avoid "switch a roos". There are many other possibilities. Long game, I want to turn CardAuthentico into a trusted marketplace that specializes in additional layers of protection against scamming and other crappy behavior in our great industry. I have bought up domain space for additional types of hobbies. StampAuthentico. ComicAuthentico. HobbyAuthentico. Creating a hobby brand under the 'Authentico" umbrella. Also, we are only set up for web form and want to turn this into an app. Theres a lot going on in this hobby and I'm always open to suggestions of features and marketing and anything else. Thanks |
