| What am I looking for | | | | We’re building a scalable web-based AI video editor for sports media professionals and content creators. Think of it as “Descript meets Final Cut, optimized for sports.” You upload a podcast or show file, or RSS feed, and our backend automatically generates headline-based clips using state-of-the-art AI and ML techniques. What’s missing is a polished, powerful frontend where users can view, edit, organize, and export their clips—and that’s where you come in.
The backend is production-ready and already generating clips from hours of content per week. Enterprise companies have expressed interest for a better frontend editing experience. We want this to feel like a lightweight Final Cut Pro: video preview window, timeline with draggable trim handles, overlays, playback, and a slick content library UI. The entire experience needs to feel effortless—from uploading a file to publishing a polished clip.
The perfect founding Engineer is someone who:
Owns product UX as much as engineering.
Has built end to end UIs before.
Loves shipping, not just talking about it.
Wants to build a brand, not just a job.
You’ll have full ownership of the frontend and a massive say in shaping the product. If you’re tired of being handed specs and want to help define the roadmap, this is your playground. I’m not looking for a code monkey—I’m looking for a partner.
