| Description | | | | - I am a long term contractor software developer and have worked for ARM, Imperial War Museums, BBC Worldservice, HSBC, The Football Association and The Scouts Association among others.
- I am also a documentary producer with a feature on the African-Caribbean experience in the UK.
- Lastly, I am a lifelong admirer of the visual arts and painting in particular.
For the project I am looking for co-founders here I've accummulated over 2000 high quality high resolution mastrpiece paintings and Cold war era posters and have a fully functioning e-commerce website - installed, configured and running online. |

| What am I looking for | | | | I have a developed, configured and running e-commerce website that's made some sales in Eastern Europe. It has a catalogue of 1000+ masterpieces of 60+ classic art painters like Van Gogh, Cezanne, Leonardo da Vinci, Salvador Dali, Manet, Rubens etcetera. The customer selects a painting and size, pays for it and receives a luxury printout at their home address. I own the catalogue of high quality images for the printouts.
The whole transaction is digitised or independent of the buy (partner photo print house prints the painting and sends it to the end client). Therefore the admin to prepare the printout is minimal, you don't need to own and maintain a physical inventory. In that sense the website/e-shop is a money making machine, provided it is marketed well.
So I am in need of a seasoned marketing professional who can sell to visual art lovers or simply people who are interested in hanging beautiful masterpieces on their walls. I need someone experienced who can market and sell well to such an audience.
My offer is 30/70 equity where I come up with the e-shop website and catalogue and the marketing professional co-founder does the advertising and commits the funds for it for the initial take off period. |
